National Geographic Student Expeditions

Upper grade homeschoolers will benefit from the educational travel
offered by National Geographic Student Expeditions.
Led by experts in their field, these trips bring students
together to learn amid their peers.

I called and asked about the application process for homeschoolers,
specifically the two teacher recommendations. They will accept letters
from homeschool associations or co-ops, or organizations that can attest to
the student's  ability to participate in large groups.

Would your homeschooler like to learn about marine conservation in Belize?
Or take a trip to Greece to learn about its history? How about expanding their
photography skills in Alaska? These expeditions don't come cheap, but it
would certainly be a unique way to further their homeschool education.
