Monticello Summer Adventures Camp

At the Monticello Summer Adventures Camp 2010, kids can learn about
Thomas Jefferson's home, and his important role in history. Located in
Charlottesville, Virginia, the west front of  Monticello has appeared on the
nickel since 1938.These week-long Day Camps are for rising 4th through 7th
Graders.

Explore life in Thomas Jefferson’s day as you experience historical activities
like cooking, gardening, games, and children’s education. You’ll hike the
grounds, visit the house, see an archeological site, and travel to Montalto,
Monticello’s neighboring mountain.

Dates:  
Rising 6th- and 7th-graders: June 21 – 25
Rising 4th- and 5th-graders: June 28 – July 2; July 12 – 16; July 19 – 23; July
26 – 30

Time: 8:30 am – 12 noon each day
Cost: $125 per session. Advance registration and payment required.
